Dhaka, April 4 -- One more vessel carrying 27,300 tonnes of diesel from Singapore berthed at Chittagong Port on Friday.
Sources said the 'MT Yuan Jing He' arrived at the Chittagong port from Singapore with 27,300 tonnes of diesel. This is the ninth ship to bring diesel to the Chittagong port since the start of the war in the Middle East.
The ship was brought to the port's Dolphin Jetty on Friday afternoon.
Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) officials confirmed the arrival of the ship carrying 27,300 tonnes of diesel from Singapore. Officials of BPC were present at the port at 2 pm to inspect the ship.
Two large ships carrying LPG and LNG have also arrived at the port's outer anchorage.
