Bangladesh, Oct. 14 -- ONE Bank PLC organized a Bangla QR awareness program in Khulna today (Wednesday) in partnership with Bangladesh Bank to encourage digital payments among local businesses and consumers and support the country's transition towards a cashless economy.

The program was attended by Shamsul Arefin, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank's Khulna Office, as the Chief Guest, according to a media release.

S. M. Kamaluzzaman Kamal, Director (Supervision) of Bangladesh Bank's Khulna Office, attended the event as the Special Guest joined by Kazi Ziaul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Financial Services and Public Sector at ONE Bank PLC.
