Dhaka, June 11 -- A new 10-coach shuttle train was inaugurated at Chittagong University (CU) on Thursday, replacing one of the university's old trains.

CU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Forkan inaugurated the train at Battali Railway Station in Chattogram at 7:30 am, reports BSS.

Speaking on the occasion, the VC said the new train would improve transportation facilities for students and replace a long-serving train.

CUCSU Vice-President Ibrahim Hossain Roni welcomed the addition, saying students would benefit from the upgraded coaches. He also reiterated the demand for another shuttle train to meet growing student needs.
