Dhaka, June 24 -- From now on, people can check retail prices of goods across the country using their mobile phones.
On Monday, Alim Akhter Khan, Director General of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP), officially launched an Android app called 'Bazardor' at a programme, held at DNCRP office in the city.
At the launch event, it was announced that the app will allow users to see the maximum retail prices of products in all 64 districts of Bangladesh from anywhere.
The app was developed for free by Daffodil Institute of IT in a response on a request from the consumer rights authority.
