Dhaka, April 13 -- The election for the Executive Board of the Bangladesh Physical Society (BPS) for the 2026-2027 terms has been completed on Saturday at Mokaram Bhaban of the University of Dhaka.

According to a press release, the newly formed committee includes experienced teachers and scientists from leading universities and research institutions of the country.

Former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka (DU) and Emeritus Professor Dr. A. F. M. Yusuf Haider has been appointed as the President of the newly elected board. Professor Dr. F.
