Dhaka, April 21 -- Long queues for fuel continued across the capital, Dhaka, on Monday, despite the government's move to supply additional diesel, petrol and octane to ease public suffering.
A visit by The Financial Express to filling stations in Motijheel, Rajarbagh, Gabtoli, Asad Gate, Malibagh and Moghbazar found vehicles -- including cars, motorbikes, buses and trucks -- lined up for hours to refuel, reflecting a situation largely unchanged from previous days.
Motorists were seen waiting for several hours, as supply disruptions continued to outpace demand at the retail level.
