Dhaka, Oct. 26 -- Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) Managing Director Faruq Ahmed has said that metro rail services between Agargaon and Uttara will resume soon, though operations on the Agargaon-Motijheel section will remain suspended due to technical issues.

He made the statement on Sunday (October 26) afternoon while visiting the site of the recent accident near the Farmgate Metro Rail Station, according to local media reports.

"Because of the accident, train operations on this section may not resume today. However, services from Agargaon to Uttara will restart very soon," he told reporters.
