Bangladesh, Aug. 12 -- Md Selim Khan has assumed office as the Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture on Wednesday.

Advertisement On 11 August, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification promoting him to the rank of Secretary.

Before he was appointed Secretary, Mohammad Selim Khan served as Additional Secretary (Extension) at the same ministry.

Md. Selim Khan is an officer of the 18th batch of the Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) Cadre.

During his career, he has served in various important positions in field administration as well as in different government offices and ministries.
