Bangladesh, Sept. 23 -- The maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal No 3 as the deep depression over Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay moved westwards.

Advertisement It is now lies over the same area at 12 noon Wednesday, about 940 km Southwest of Chattogram, 920 km Southwest of Cox's Bazar, 755 km Southwest of Mongla and 785 km Southwest of Payra.

It is likely to move west-northwestwards further and cross the North Andhra Pradesh - South Odisha coasts of India by tonight, reports UNB.

Under its influence, squally weather may affect the Maritime Ports, North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh.
