Dhaka, Aug. 17 -- The National Logistics Policy is under revision to remove inconsistencies and include urgent reform measures, said said Dr Ahmed Ullah, Director General of the Chief Adviser's Office (CAO)on Sunday.

The policy, first drafted last year by the CAO, is being re-examined following an initial review in June, he told a roundtable on "Challenges, Opportunities, and Way Forward in Shipping & Logistics Landscape" organised by The Financial Express (FE) in Dhaka.

He said 62 reform initiatives were already identified, but more could be added after consultations with ministries and stakeholders

"Reforms are happening, though the pace is slow. Bureaucracy often means delay, but with collective effort we can speed it up," he noted....
