Dhaka, Aug. 28 -- The government declared the death anniversary of Fakir Lalon Shah on October 17 as a 'Ka' category day.
The decision was taken today at the Advisory Council meeting held at the Chief Adviser's Office (CAO) here with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus in the chair, BSS reports.
Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam disclosed this information at a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy in the city this afternoon.
"The Advisory Council has approved a proposal to recognize October 17, the death anniversary of the great Baul saint Fakir Lalon Shah, as a Category "Ka" day," he said.
