Dhaka, June 13 -- Karmasangsthan Bank inaugurated its 290th branch in Dhobaura Upazila of Mymensingh on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Dhobaura Upazila Parishad Hallroom.

The branch was formally inaugurated by Bijon Kanti Sarkar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, who attended the event as the chief guest, according to a press release.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Dr. A.F.M. Matiur Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Karmasangsthan Bank and former Secretary. Special guests included Mohammad Salman Omar Rubel, Member of Parliament for Mymensingh-1 Constituency, Arun Kumar Chowdhury, Managing Director of Karmasangsthan Bank, and Md. Saifur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of Mymensingh.
