Dhaka, Aug. 28 -- The authorities at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia have formed an 11-member committee to draft a constitution for the Islamic University Central Students' Union (IUCSU) and Hall Parliament.

The announcement came through a press release issued on Wednesday night signed by IU's acting registrar Professor M Manjurul Haque, UNB reports.

Professor M Mizanur Rahman of the Accounting and Information Systems department has been appointed as the convener of the committee, while Professor M Kamrul Hasan of the Arabic Language and Literature department will serve as the member secretary.
