Dhaka, May 31 -- Bangladesh's unbeaten march in the SAFF Women's Championship came to a halt as India returned to winning ways with a dominant victory, capitalising on defensive lapses to secure top spot in Group B and avoid a semi-final showdown with hosts Nepal.

At Goa's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday, Peter James Butler's side suffered a 3-0 defeat, finishing runners-up in the group, bdnews24.com reports.

Earlier in the day, Nepal, runners-up in each of the last three editions, beat Sri Lanka 2-0 to top Group A. Bhutan progressed as runners-up, setting up a semi-final against India on Tuesday, while Bangladesh will face Nepal for a place in the final.
