Dhaka, March 9 -- India is looking to further strengthen its economic partnership with Bangladesh by expanding trade, financial cooperation and digital connectivity, Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pranay Kumar Verma said on Sunday.

The remarks came after a meeting with Bangladesh's Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, where both sides discussed ways to enhance business opportunities and modernise financial systems.

The discussions also touched on development cooperation projects and India's experience in digital financial inclusion, reflecting growing interest in using technology to make economic participation broader and more accessible in the region.
