Bangladesh, Aug. 14 -- Huawei has launched Bangladesh's first grid-forming smart string inverter and battery energy storage system (BESS) for the utility sector, aiming to support the country's renewable energy transition and strengthen grid stability.

Advertisement The company introduced the SUN2000-506KTL-H3, described as the industry's first grid-forming smart string inverter with a capacity of more than 500 kW, alongside the LUTERRA-6261-2S/4S advanced battery energy storage system.

The solutions were unveiled at an event titled 'Grid-forming technology powering a greener future', organised by Huawei at a city hotel in Dhaka on Wednesday.
