Dhaka, March 5 -- The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources (MPEMR) has issued a nationwide directive on Thursday, urging citizens, institutions, and businesses to adopt strict energy-saving measures in response to potential disruptions in global energy supply caused by geopolitical developments in the Middle East.

The circular, signed by the Information and Public Relations officer of the MPEMR Muhammad Arif Sadeq, highlighted the urgent need to safeguard national energy security and ensure efficient use of resources.

It has called for coordinated action across households, industries, transportation, and government offices.
