Dhaka, Nov. 6 -- The government has moved to preserve all registered land deeds in a digital system as part of a major initiative to curb land-related fraud and forgery.
A senior official at the Ministry of Land (MoL) said the process has begun to eliminate fake ownership claims by uploading and preserving all registered land documents on the government's designated website.
"The integration of registered land deeds into an online system will be completed in phases," the official said, adding that it would help resolve long-standing disputes and reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions.
