Dhaka, Oct. 27 -- Global financial and technical support is crucial to ensure climate justice in Bangladesh, said Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan.
She noted that it is vital to enhance research, policy formulation, and action planning within the administration to strengthen Bangladesh's position in global climate negotiations.
She said these while was speaking as the chief guest at a workshop on the 'Draft Position Paper for COP-30' - held at the Department of Environment (DoE) in the capital on Sunday.
The advisor also said discussions on the USD 100-billion global climate fund have been going on for years, but there remains a significant gap in its effective implementation.
