Dhaka, May 9 -- A fire broke out at a foam factory in Saddam Market of Kodomtali area in Narayanganj.

However, no casualties were reported in the incident so far.

Acting on information, five units of the fire service rushed to the scene and brought the fire under control.

The fire service received the news of the fire at 6:24 pm on Friday, according to the Department of Fire Service and Civil Defence.

Control duty officer Ms. Rozina Akhter said that five units of the fire service were sent to the scene after receiving reports of the fire at a foam factory in the Saddam Market area of Kadamtali.

She also said that the cause of the fire and the extent of damage could not be known immediately.
