Dhaka, Oct. 14 -- A fire broke out at a chemical godown at Shialbari of Mirpur area of Dhaka on Tuesday.

The fire started at the godown around 11:40 am and spread soon, said Talha Bin Jashim, an official of the Fire Service and Civil Defense (Media cell), reports UNB.

On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to bring the fire under control.

Three more firefighting units left for the spot, he said.
