Bangladesh, Sept. 29 -- The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday approved a Tk 12.76 billion project to strengthen financial sector transparency along with 12 others.

Advertisement Presided over by the Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the ECNEC endorsed a total of 13 projects worth Tk 158.24 billion at its meeting in Dhaka.

Of the total proposed expenditures, Tk 101.88 billion will come from the local resources, Tk 52.53 billion from foreign loans, and Tk 4.51 billion from implementing agencies' own funds.
