Dhaka, Aug. 25 -- As part of preparations for the 13th National Parliamentary Election, the Election Commission (EC) on Monday entered its second day of hearings on demarcation objections related to constituencies in the Khulna, Barisal, and Chattogram regions.

The hearing began at 10:00 am in the auditorium of the Election Commission Building in the capital's Agargaon, with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin in the chair. The hearing will continue until 5:00 pm. Election commissioners and the secretary of the EC Secretariat joined the hearing.

At the outset, the hearings were held on claims and objections related to the Satkhira-3, 4, and Jessore-3, 6 constituencies, followed by hearings on Bagerhat-1, 2, and 3 constitue...
