Dhaka, July 3 -- A tourist went missing after being swept away by the strong current of the Dhalai River while bathing at the popular Bholaganj Sadapathor tourist spot in Companiganj upazila of Sylhet on Thursday afternoon.

The missing tourist was identified as Dr Subrata Saha Bikash, 33, son of Mihir Lal Saha of Ramgati upazila in Lakshmipur district.

According to eyewitnesses and police, Subrata and three friends had travelled from Dhaka to visit several tourist attractions in Sylhet. As part of their trip, they visited Bholaganj Sadapathor .
