Bangladesh, Oct. 9 -- State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr MA Muhit on Friday said proper treatment for dengue has been ensured at every upazila health complex across the country.

"The government has been working to restore people's confidence in public healthcare since assuming office," he said.

The state minister added, "As part of advance preparations to tackle dengue, 2,000 doctors across the country have been given training over the past month."

Dr Muhit made the remarks as the chief guest at a views exchange meeting at Shahjadpur Upazila Health Complex in the district this afternoon.

He urged everyone to remain aware of dengue prevention and keep their homes and surrounding areas clean.
