Dhaka, April 25 -- Daffodil International University (DIU) has ranked first among private universities in Bangladesh and third overall among both public and private institutions in the Asia University Rankings 2026 published by Times Higher Education, according to a press release Saturday.

The university has also been placed in the 351-400 band in Asia, reflecting its growing reputation and academic strength at both national and regional levels.

DIU achieved an overall score of 38.22, based on five key performance indicators: teaching quality, research environment, research quality, industry engagement and international outlook.
