Bangladesh, Sept. 27 -- Bangladesh's COP31 country position paper must reflect workers' rights, social protection, safety, decent work, skills development and climate resilience as part of its just transition agenda.

Advertisement Climate change is already affecting workers through heat stress, lost hours, unsafe workplaces and livelihood risks.

The recommendations and observations were made at an event titled 'Workshop on Worker Position Paper for COP31' held at a city hotel.

Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) and National Alliance for Just Transition Bangladesh (NAJTB) jointly organised the workshop, supported by Oxfam and Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF), joint Secretariat of NAJTB.
