Bangladesh, Aug. 25 -- Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC (CBC) Bangladesh Operations has officially launched its dedicated Shariah-compliant Islamic Banking service, "Al Adalah," according to a press release on Tuesday.

Advertisement The service was launched on Sunday (August 23), with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the dedicated Islamic Banking window at the bank's Corporate Branch, followed by a launch event at the Grand Ballroom of Sheraton Dhaka.

The landmark proceedings were graced by the Bank's Deputy Chairman, Raja Senanayake, Global Managing Director, Sanath Manatunge, and Chief Executive Officer of CBC Bangladesh Operations, Tivanka Damunopola.
