Dhaka, Oct. 11 -- The Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has banned all kinds of processions, meetings, human chains, and similar programmes in the Chattogram port area for 30 days.

As a result, nobody can arrange such events there for the next one month, starting today.

The information was revealed in a public notice issued by CMP Commissioner Hasib Aziz on Thursday.

According to the notice published on the official Facebook page of CMP, the decision was made to keep imports and exports at the port smooth and uninterrupted.
