Dhaka, May 18 -- Citizens Bank organized a training program on "Islamic Banking Operations" at its Training Academy recently, according to a press release.

Mr. Alamgir Hossain, Managing Director of the Bank, inaugurated the program as the Chief Guest and delivered an insightful speech on various aspects, scope and operations of Islamic Banking. He also emphasized the growing importance of Islamic Banking from both business and personal life perspectives.

Among others, Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman and Mr. Md. Abdul Latif, along with Mr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam Shikder, Head of Islamic Banking Division, were present on the occasion.
