Dhaka, Sept. 16 -- Chinese company KMK Industrial Limited is set to establish the first-ever aeroplane amenity bag and kit manufacturing facility at the BEPZA Economic Zone.
The project involves an investment of $18.60 million and is expected to create employment opportunities for 1,231 Bangladeshis, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.
The agreement was signed on September 14, 2025, between Mr Md Ashraful Kabir, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA, and Mr Wu Yuxiang , Chairman of KMK Industrial Limited, in the presence of BEPZA Executive Chairman Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, BSP, ndc, psc .
