Bangladesh, Aug. 28 -- Bangladesh should reform its tax system by strengthening local governments, improving revenue-sharing mechanisms and using digital systems to boost compliance, experts said at a special lecture organised by Policy Research Institute (PRI) on Thursday.

Advertisement The lecture, titled "Taxation System and Reform in China: Lessons for Revenue Mobilisation in Bangladesh," was organised to examine how China's tax reforms could offer lessons for strengthening Bangladesh's fiscal capacity.
