Dhaka, March 8 -- A case petition has been filed in court against National Citizens Party (NCP) Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary for defamation, criminal intimidation, and insulting Mirza Abbas, the prime minister's political advisor and member of the BNP National Standing Committee.

Ramna Thana BNP President Ashraful Islam filed the petition in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Hasan Shahadat on Sunday.

The plaintiff's legal counsellor, Amirul Islam (Amir), confirmed the information, reports bdmews24.com.
