Dhaka, March 3 -- The Board of Directors of BRAC Bank has promoted Md. Shaheen Iqbal, CFA and Ahmed Rashid Joy to Additional Managing Directors (AMDs) effective from March 1, 2026, according to a press release.

Md. Shaheen Iqbal now serves as Additional Managing Director & Head of Wholesale Banking. He will look after key business segments including Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking, Transaction Banking, Structured Finance, Remittance & Probashi Banking and Financial Institutions.

Since joining BRAC Bank in 2004, he has built deep expertise in treasury and financial management, including foreign exchange, money markets, capital markets, derivatives, asset-liability management, and financial institution relationships.
