Bangladesh, Oct. 26 -- Bangladesh Railway (BR) on Monday launched operation of third pair of trains on Dhaka-Cox's Bazar route, designating Mohanagar Express to ply up to the beach town extending its journey beyond the port city of Chattogtram.Bangladesh Economic Report

Minister for railways alongside road transport & bridges and shipping Sheikh Rabiul Alam inaugurated the service of the Mohanagar Express in its extended route from Dhaka Railway Station at Kamalapur, reports BSS.

So far two train pairs - Tourist Express and Cox's Bazar Express - were operating on the 467.83 km long route, which was opened in December 2023.
