Bangladesh, Aug. 5 -- Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun has visited the Rajshahi Silk Factory to observe its production activities and explore the potential of the country's silk industry.

Advertisement During the visit on Tuesday, Director General of the Bangladesh Sericulture Development Board Toufiq Al Mahmud briefed the BIDA Executive Chairman on the factory's production operations, research and extension programmes, initiatives to develop Bangladesh's silk sector, and the overall condition of the factory, said a press release on Wednesday.
