Dhaka, April 7 -- Bangladesh is set to discuss resuming manpower export to Malaysia, as Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury will visit Kuala Lumpur on 8 April (tomorrow).
"I have received an invitation from the Malaysian ministry concerned. Discussions will take place there. Efforts will also be made to reopen the labour market in Malaysia quickly. We will share the outcome with everyone. The ministry does not deal with any syndicate and always tries to remain open to all," the minister told the media on Monday.
He said these at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after receiving the body of a Bangladeshi worker, killed in a missile attack in Saudi Arabia.
