Dhaka, April 2 -- Bangladesh continues to trail behind several neighbouring countries in overall quality of life, according to the latest Good Life Index 2026.

The South Asian country shared 105th position with Vanuatu in the list, securing 57.3 scores, reveals the index, released by CS Global Partners.

The index, which combines the Human Development Index (HDI) and Environmental Performance Index (EPI), highlights disparities in health, education, living standards and environmental sustainability across nations.

While Bangladesh has made steady progress in socio-economic indicators over the past decade, its overall standing remains in the lower-middle tier globally.
