Dhaka, Dec. 8 -- Bangladesh and Thailand want to further expand their existing trade relations and make more effective use of maritime transport facilities between the two nations.
The views came when Thailand Ambassador to Bangladesh, Thitiporn Chirasawadi, made a courtesy call on Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Udding at the latter's Secretariat office on Sunday, said a press statement.
The Commerce Adviser informed the Thai envoy that the government was
creating 'excellent opportunities' for foreign investors.
He also encouraged Thai investors to take advantage of such opportunities through investing in Bangladesh's growing pharmaceuticals, shrimp, furniture, and tourism sectors, it mentioned.
