Dhaka, March 9 -- The Bangladesh government has sent five additional inspectors general of police into forced retirement.
They have been identified as Abu Hasan Muhammad Tariq, Abdul Alim Mahmud, Masudur Rahman Bhuiyan, River Police's Kusum Dewan, and Md Tawfique Mahbub Chowdhury, the principal of the Bangladesh Police Academy in Rajshahi's Sardah.
They were sent into forced retirement by five separate notices issued on Sunday, reports bdnews24.com.
Of the five, Tariq and Alim had been made officers on special duty (OSD) and Masudur had been assigned as a TR at Police Headquarters.
