Dhaka, Oct. 3 -- Low-lying areas along rivers in five districts could face temporary flooding over the coming days, the Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) has warned.

The vulnerable districts are Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari, Sherpur, Mymensingh and Netrokona, according to the FFWC's latest bulletin issued on Friday, reports bdnews24.com.

Officials said all major rivers are still flowing below danger levels, but rising water could cause temporary inundation in some parts of the country.
