Bangladesh, Aug. 18 -- Bangladesh and India are looking to deepen bilateral economic engagement, with Commerce Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir calling for concerted efforts to convert geographical proximity into concrete economic gains through expanded trade, investment, industrial cooperation and private-sector participation.

Advertisement The minister made the observation at a meeting with a delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at the Secretariat on Tuesday, led by CII Director General Chandrajit Banerjee.
