Bangla QR misuse raises concerns over MFS sustainability
Bangladesh, Sept. 15 -- Bangladesh's zero-fee Bangla QR payment system is raising concerns over the financial sustainability of mobile financial service (MFS) operators, as reports of merchants allegedly providing cash instead of goods or services through QR payments put the model under scrutiny.

Such practices are also raising questions about the reliability of digital-transaction data, as QR payments that do not represent genuine sales could inflate transaction volumes and distort records of commercial activity.
