Bangladesh, Sept. 28 -- Three people have been killed and five others injured after a truck hit a passenger-bearing three-wheeler in Lalmonirhat's Patgram.

Advertisement The accident occurred around 8 am on Monday near Ghunti Bazar on the Burimari-Lalmonirhat Highway in Burimari Union, reports bnews24.com.

Patgram Police chief Saiful Islam said three people were killed and five injured in the accident.

He could not immediately identify the dead.

Residents said a truck travelling from Lalmonirhat towards Burimari rammed the three-wheeler from behind as they were heading in the same direction.

The impact caused the vehicle to veer out of control and crash into a roadside shop.
