Dhaka, Feb. 16 -- Bangladesh's Chief of Army Staff Gen Waker-Uz-Zaman has paid a farewell visit to Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus.
The chief adviser has thanked the army chief for the cooperation of the armed forces during the general election.
The courtesy meeting was held at the Chief Adviser's Office in Tejgaon on Monday, bdnews24.com reported citing a press statement from the office.
They exchanged greetings and briefly discussed several issues during their tenure, the statement said.
It was also said that the chief advisor expressed gratitude to the army chief for the military's support, especially, during the national parliamentary election.
