Bangladesh, Sept. 20 -- Cumilla school student Ishayat Shahriar Apratim was killed while snatching the iPhone he was carrying, police say.

Advertisement Cumilla Police Superintendent Mohammad Anisuzzaman shared the information at the Cumilla District Police Superintendent's Office around 2:15 pm on Sunday, reports bdnews24.com.

Police had previously said that four people had been detained on suspicion of involvement in the killing of 13-year-old Apratim, the son of Nahida Begum, an associate professor in the Department of Bengali at Cumilla University.

The iPhone that Apratim had been carrying was also recovered from the detainees.
