Bangladesh, Aug. 27 -- As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and with the aim of contributing to environmental conservation and greening efforts, Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC has undertaken a tree plantation program on the premises of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

Advertisement Under the slogan "Let's Beautify Our Country Through Tree Plantation, Bangladesh First," the tree plantation initiative featuring native tree species has recently commenced at BUET, according to a press release.

BUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Eqramul Haque attended the event as the Chief Guest. The program was presided over by Managing Director of the Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan.
