Dhaka, Oct. 17 -- The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has approved two separate cases against former minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury and his wife Rehana Hossain for allegedly acquiring wealth beyond their known sources of income.

ACC Director General Akhter Hossain confirmed this information to journalists on Thursday at the ACC headquarters in Segunbagicha.

The cases will be filed at the ACC's Integrated District Office, Dhaka-1, with Deputy Director Md. Saiduzzaman as the complainant.
