Dhaka, March 3 -- The 91st meeting of Shari'ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC (SJIBPLC) was held on Monday at the Board meeting room of the Corporate Head Office of the bank, according to a press release.

The Chairman of Shari'ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, Mufti Shamsuddin Zia, presided over the meeting. The meeting discussed various issues related to Shari'ah compliance in overall Islamic Banking operations and provided shariah based guideline and approvals on various matters presented in the meeting.
