Dhaka, March 9 -- Eleven days have already gone by since the curtain rose on the Amar Ekushey Book Fair, and the fairgrounds have begun to see a noticeable increase in the volume of visitors as the event has reached its midpoint.

With the growing number of visitors, book sales have also increased significantly.

A total of 75 new titles were unveiled on Sunday, the eleventh day of the fair.

With these additions, the total number of newly-published books arriving at this year's fair has reached 833 in the first 11 days, according to the fair's information centre.
